It’s a game that has been doing the rounds on the rumour mill for a little while now, but with the full confirmation and cinematic trailer fans of the series got their first glimpse of what to expect.įollowing the official announcement on the 23rd April 2017, Game sported a timer countdown to the reveal trailer, which landed on Wednesday the 26th April 2017 at 6pm in the UK (10am Pacific time and 1pm Eastern time in the US). Call of Duty: WW2, the franchise's first return to the Second World War since 2008, launches for PC, PS4 and Xbox One Friday, November 3.With E3 2017 just around the corner, Activision has just landed with the release date, reveal trailer and some of the gameplay details for its next big title, Call Of Duty: World War II. Activision's CEO recently hinted at the possibility of more historical outings for the Call of Duty franchise, while developer Sledgehammer recently detailed changes coming to multiplayer following the game's beta. These vary from region to region, but can be found at the Call of Duty website. The bonuses apply to any preorder made right up until the game's release, but only at specific retailers. It's also been confirmed, in response to a query from a fan, that these bonuses will retroactively apply to any preorders that have already been placed - any existing preorders will be upgraded automatically. In addition, the Multiplayer Upgrade grants double experience points in multiplayer mode, although the small print confirms that this will only last for the first four hours of gameplay. This token can be traded for any weapon of a player's choice in multiplayer mode, potentially kitting out first-time players with advanced weaponry early in the game. All players who preorder Call of Duty: WW2 will receive the Multiplayer Upgrade, which grants access to a Weapon Unlock Token.
